Who can cut my gems?

Over the years, I have cut many gems for myself and others. However, I am very fortunate to be able to currently focus on cutting my own gemstones for my inventory. That being said, I get many requests for custom-cut gems that are provided to me. I thought it would be helpful to provide a list of gem cutters that I know will accept cutting projects so long as the gemstones provided fit their quality criteria.

Maggie Klinedinst was one of the first people I ever sold a faceted gemstone to. Who would have thought years down the line, she would learn to facet gemstones as well! I originally knew Maggie for her talents in wire wrapping. Over the last 5 years or so, she has accumulated a broad range of skills in the jewelry world, and her passion shows brightly. Maggie lives in Baltimore, Maryland, where she spends her time faceting gemstones and is learning to metal smith.

Based in Seattle, Washington. Megan quickly popped into the scene of gem cutting, and her skills were apparent from the start. Starting with cabbing gems, just as I did, Szczecko knew her calling. Megan is also pursuing her diploma in Gemology at the Gemological Institute of America.

Partner to a dear friend of mine, Rana Levy, Randy tried his hand at gem cutting as well and has fallen in love with the process like the rest of us. Located in Las Vegas, Nevada. With a primary focus on lab grown gems, Randy is a great option for custom-cut stones.
